Inspired by the Google, MapReduce and Hadoop have exploded as “The Tool” for big data. Interestingly, Google no longer uses MapReduce to build their index of the web.
Mike presented a brief overview of new tools emerging for (1) incremental analytics (2) ad-hoc analytics and (3) dealing with highly-connected content.
